Ben Nevis Charity Hike

A Huge congratulations to Bonar Yarns staff member Jacki Stephen, technical Service and Development Manager, who last month conquered Ben Nevis all in the name of charity.

The 20 mile hike spanning 1,344 metres was tackled on 6th September by Jacki and various other Dundee locals to raise an initial £500 for Sense Scotland; however the grand total has now reached over £1,300!

Sense Scotland was formalised as a charity in 1985. The charity works with children and adults with complex support needs due to deafblindness, many because of maternal rubella. Since then, the organisation has gone on to successfully support thousands of disabled people and their families, in thousands of projects and services, throughout Scotland.

A huge well done to Jacki and everyone else involved for this incredible achievement, as well as a massive thank you to everyone who donated to such a worthy cause!
